Color Guide

    Bugle Coarse Thread
Provides best holding power for attaching to wood. For attaching drywall to wood studs and attaching fixtures to either material.
Round Washer Type A (Self-Piercing Point) - Sharp Point
A thread forming screw for use in thin metal .015 to .050 thick. Used with drilled, punched or nested holes in sheet metal, resin impregnated plywood, and others.

    Flat Fine Thread
Provides best holding power when attaching to light- gauge steel. For drywall to 20-25 gauge metal studs.
Pancake Type AB - Sharp Point/Type B Threads
Thread forming screw combining locating point of Type A with thread size and pitch of Type B. Same normal limitations of Type B.

    Hex High-Low - Sharp Point
30º and 60º included thread angles. For attaching drywall to light-gauge steel studs or wood studs. Ideal for plastic, particle board, masonite and wood. Provides higher strip-out resistance.
Phillips Type B - Blunt Point
Thread forming screw for use in heavier metal .050 to .200 thick. For light and heavy sheet metal, monferrous castings, plastics, impregnated plywoods, and others.

    Pan High-Low - Blunt Point
30º and 60º included thread angles. For attaching drywall to light-gauge steel studs or wood studs. Ideal for plastic, particle board, masonite and wood. Provides higher strip-out resistance.
      Type F
Thread cutting screw with machine screw thread and blunt tapered point, having multi-cutting edges and chip cavities. For heavy gauge sheet metal, lead, and others.

    Oval Twin Thread
Two helixes spiraling around the screw shank. Provides increased holding power and faster application speed. Provides higher strip-out resistance.
      Truss Type 17
Thread cutting screw for wood with a coarse tapping screw thread and a special long sharp point fluted to capture chips.

    Type 17 Self-Drilling Type
Allows drill and tap functions to be done in one quick operation. Metal up to .500 thick can be drilled and fastened easily.
      Machine Screws Machine Screws
Used in a pre-tapped hole or with a nut.

    Oval Particle Board
Reduced body diameter causing less distortion of material. Greater pitch angle of threads resists pull out. Increased depth & wider spacing of threads minimizes crumbling of material.
      Truss Thread Forming
Precision thread forming screws that form mating threads to produce tight fastening assemblies. Triangular-modified thread body. Low driving torques and high holding power.
